CHACÓN
Javier Chacón, or simply CHACÓN, combines Latin pop and reggaeton with R&B, gospel, flamenco, salsa, afrobeats, hip-hop, trap, son cubano, ballads, and bullerengue. A singer-songwriter and music producer from Cienfuegos, Cuba, now based in Montreal, CHACÓN has performed as both a vocalist and pianist at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Toronto Caribbean Carnival, Festival des Rythmes du Monde in Chicoutimi, Cuban Festival of St-Sauveur, Montréal en Lumières, Festival Nouveau Cinema de Montreal, Santa Teresa, Solstis Festival, among others. He has also performed at festivals and venues in France, Belgium, Algeria, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin, and Peru.
Drawing inspiration from artists as diverse as Justin Bieber, Rauw Alejandro, Bad Bunny, Tainy, Josh Gudwin, Gente de Zona, Jacob Forever, Rosalia, Lunay, Daddy Yankee, Camilo, Sech, The Weeknd, Ramon Chicharron, Marc Anthony, and Ariana Grande, CHACÓN has just released his first EP “Solo” on Lulaworld Records label.
